Head of Market hall Department

Job description


  • Coordinating the work of the department in order to achieve and increase all trade KPIs;
  • Participate actively in the planning and analysis of sales in the department, with comprehensive forecasting and optimization of current and future sales opportunities;
  • Ensuring the best possible customer service and have customers expectations in focus as your first priority;
  • Monitoring and management of the operation costs in your area of responsibility;
  • Ensuring that all actions in the store are based on the legal and corporate standards of IKEA for safety in all areas of responsibility.
  • You are responsible for the recruitment, development and motivation of the staff according to IKEA values;
  • Ensuring that all team members are highly motivated, engaged, and always willing to take the extra step that will maximize sales efficiency and profitability.



  • You have minimum 5 years of experience in the field of sales, of which at least 2 at the managerial level;
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Processes, or similar;
  • You are well acquainted with the retail market
  • You have good communication skills and are customer-oriented
  • You have a balanced leadership approach aimed at developing and motivating people and achieving business goals
  • You are initiative, proactive and act with a problem-solving attitude
  • You are able to work in a dynamic environment and make quick decisions;
  • You are ready to work in shifts;
  • Your previous experience with MS Dynamics Navision ERP will be considered an advantage.
