YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, develop, manage and deliver the calendar of community hub activities.
• Collaborate with delivery partners (eg. designers, makers and entrepreneurs), local community partners and talented IKEA co-workers in developing an engaging and relevant programme.
• Host and deliver community hub activities, ensuring an accessible, relevant and inspirational experience.
• Source and organise materials/products for community hubs activities with the recovery team.
• Record, edit and post video content, or manage others to do so, liaising with marketing and other relevant business partners.
• Develop & co create relevant and engaging digital content.
• Maintain all equipment and operational readiness of the community hubs adhering to ASR,SEC check and H & S compliance.
• Ensure store engagement with the community hubs, through regular communication and opportunities for co-worker involvement, joint business planning and cross functional collaboration.
• Be an ambassador for the community hubs across the store and the business.
• Promote understanding of circularity Health & Sustainable living & Community engagement to customers and co-workers.
• To secure all operational needs & maintaining high standards of cleaning and machine maintenance.
• To develop and deliver a calendar of activities is required that will link to wider store campaigns as well as the Market Commercial Calendar.

ABOUT THIS WORK AREA

To create an inspiring and participatory customer experience through a programme of events, workshops and activities, to enable customers and co-workers to learn new skills connected to sustainable & Healthy Living, circularity, community engagement and Home furnishing expertise. It is also about developing and testing capabilities and approach to reaching the many people online, creating omnichannel experience.
