You are passionate about the power of digital communication and leading through communication. Furthermore, you have the affinity with current and future trends and best practices in technology, media, and online behavior. You like both working independently and together in a team. More importantly, you are great in stakeholder management and engagement, able to connect persons, ideas and perspectives in a way that helps to develop and drive our business.

You have knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people. You know how to use insights to formulate communication strategies, plans and activities to meet IKEA business and receiver needs. You love delivering, measuring, learning to create results that creates business impact.

Further, what you need:

• Proven advanced training in (digital) communication or equivalent
• Some years of experience in web communications
• Experience in a 360 approach to communication – combining owned, earned and paid media
• Expertise in briefing, creating, publishing, optimizing and following up content in owned (web) channels
• Proven results from using web channels to reach communication and business objectives
• Experience with managing/advising on digital communications in a stakeholder/ customer-centric business, preferably from a digital agency or global company
• Preferred: Knowledge of the IKEA brand, culture, values and way of working

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US

As a Digital Communication Specialist – Web you are enabling an accelerated digital delivery and a word-class experience of IKEA in digital touchpoints, such as IKEA.com and Ingka.com. You are responsible, together with a team of digital communication specialists, for IKEA’s digital communication in general. Further, you are driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where co-workers are informed, engaged and empowered.

Some of your tasks will be to:

• Define, plan, create/execute and follow up on effective and strategic digital communications
• Brief agencies or internal partners in content creation for IKEA.com and Ingka.com
• Basic content creation and publishing in our CMS, including for example image editing and copywriting
• Following up on campaigns and communication initiatives using Google Analytics
• Work together with the IKEA.com product teams in developing IKEA.com to meet our communication needs
• Work with stakeholder analysis, engagement and relationship management
• Work across function within IKEA Group and all our businesses

This is a permanent contract and will be based in Malmö, Sweden.
