WHO YOU ARE

• You have a keen interest and experience in Logistics.
• You have led employees and have a strong leadership mentality.
• You bring a forklift driving license with you.
• You are motivated, ambitious and reliable.
• You can set expectations for others and provide clear direction, motivate and develop a team.
• You have strong communication skills in German both written and spoken and are also able to speak English.
• You are computer literate and ready to learn new IT systems.
• You already live close to Lyssach or have an own vehicle to be able to come to work.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle the flow of goods efficiently and with focus on the needs of our customers. Operations include unloading of trucks, storage, and retrieval of the goods, replenishing sales locations in the warehouse area of the store, and managing handling and packaging materials (the team operates from 5:00 am till the store closing time).
• Increase productivity through efficient resource planning and flexible work, education, improvement of working methods and efficient merchandise flow.
• Determining logistics capacity needs in your area of responsibility.
• Recruiting new employees and creating development plans.
• Develop competence and performance of co workers, including performance appraisals, goal setting and succession planning.
• Actively use IT systems for handling and optimization of the goods flow.
• Participating in creating the business plan and action plan.
• Adherence to and review of safety regulations.
