About us The Integrated Media team is part of the wider Marketing team, responsible for delivering sustainable, extraordinary growth by attracting and activating consumers and customers through paid, owned, and earned media. We work to find the most effective and efficient approach to reaching, influencing, and engaging consumers and customers to drive multichannel growth. Converting more consumers into IKEA customers and increasing the value of our current customers by getting under the skin of their behaviour and needs, optimizing our channel mix to continually find ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness of media investment, whilst seeking to find new and innovative ways to connect with the many people.
About You As the Integrated Media Specialist (12 month contract), you will be responsible for the optimisation of our performance marketing channels, including paid search (Google Shopping and PPC), programmatic display, social media, and affiliate marketing. You will execute media tactics to increase return, efficiency, and maximise marketing ROI.
Essential Competence: • Formal qualifications in Marketing, media or equivalent • Minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing/Media, agency-side or in-house, and delivering results in performance marketing channels, namely paid search, social media and digital display • Proven experience of or strong understanding of the ad and marketing tech landscape (DMP, DSPs, viewability, ad fraud etc) • Strong analytical capabilities, proven experience in analyzing large amounts of data, and translating data into insights and actions • Strong attention to detail • Experience in the retail sector, preferably home furnishing • Self-reliant and motivated with proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
About the Role / Assignment • Act as a member of the Marketing team and proactively contribute to effectiveness and efficiency of performance marketing and media plan/output in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals • Contributor for implementation of Integrated Media plan across paid, earned, and owned media • Support planning and execution, and secure optimization and follow-up on marketing activities within paid media, to increase performance • Support Marketing Performance Leader with Media Performance follow-up and analysis, including cost efficiency analysis, monitoring and reporting • Actively cooperate with key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and maximize impact • Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, be a role model of the IKEA values, and contribute to the transformation of IKEA • Support all initiatives within and outside commercial included in the agreed communication plan Secure prerequisites for execution, optimization and follow-up of on- and offline media, e.g. kpi’s, distribution, tracking, ad-tech etc.
