Job description

WHO YOU ARE

  • Strong leadership skills in a people-centric organisation
  • Aptitude to renew, improve and to embrace the change
  • Very good relational incisiveness/impact to build trust and communicate in a clear and targeted way with different people in various situations
  • A broader overview on all store operational process and a flexible mindset being able to gather interconnections between commercial and operational areas
  • Analytical skills along with understanding of budget, cost and key performance indicators and how to use them to plan, follow up and steer the business
  • Ability to work through others, set priorities, delegate responsibility and give open and honest feedback
  • Experience in sales location management / sales space capacity
  • Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English
  • Understanding on how logistics & D&A works in IKEA retail operations
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Courteous and efficient Customer service & communication skills
  • Knowledge in MS office and Navision system
  • Knowledge of the IKEA product range, including service products.

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US

  • Contribute to the creation and operational implementation of the local store' action plan
  • Always lead the team and work with the country In-store Logistics and the store to secure the highest goods availability for customers and at the lowest possible cost
  • Secure correct usage of short- and mid-term capacity needs by creating operating capacity through space optimization using available working methods and routines
  • Identify, recruit and develop the many talents in the team to secure succession planning
  • Ensure the Furniture Areas (Self Service & Warehouse) are always in excellent shape as new and fully and efficiently stocked with the basics in place to satisfy customers
  • Ensure efficient daily goods flow operations (IFS included); this includes the inventory process, unloading activity, internal handling, picking & delivery service.

The main responsibilities are: exceeding customer expectations by ensuring a seamless and easy buying process that creates trust in the IKEA brand in a multichannel environment; managing and supporting the team in order to co-ordinate and optimise goods flow operations in the store. This will result in agreed product availability for customers and the correct quality of the goods flow process in the store at the lowest possible costs.


Qualification
  • Strong experience within logistics area, and skilled in supply chain processes, tools and working methods
  • Minimum of 5 Years experience in warehouse Operations
  • proven expreince in Leading and managing Team Members
